The area treated must be shaved within 24 hours prior to treatment. The area is then cleansed and a cool gel is applied. Through the Lutronic Advantage Diode Laser handpiece, gentle pulses of near-infrared light are emitted and penetrate the skin to begin disabling the hair follicles. Once all hair follicles have been disabled, no new hair will grow in the treated area.*

Side effects are rare and may include blistering, soft scabbing or redness at the treatment site, but typically resolves within a few days. You will be notified during your consultation if you are susceptible to possible side effects.
